Reading and Leeds 2027 tickets: prices, deposits and when headliners are announced

TL;DR. Reading and Leeds 2027 weekend tickets cost £296, £326 or £362 at first release, the same at both sites, each with a £20 deposit and nine monthly instalments (official tickets pages, 10 October 2026). No headliner and no reveal date had been announced by 10 October 2026. The last four headliner reveals (2022 to 2025) fell between 23 November and 9 December, but each came with a ticket launch, and 2027 tickets went on general sale blind on Friday 11 September 2026. The festival runs from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 August 2027 at Richfield Avenue, Reading, and Bramham Park, Leeds.

How much are Reading and Leeds 2027 tickets?

On 10 October 2026 both official tickets pages listed three weekend tickets, all labelled "1st Release":

  • Weekend + Early Entry Camping: £362. Campsites from Wednesday 25 August 2027. No separate early-entry passes will be sold, so this is the only way in early.
  • Weekend Camping: £326. At Reading, campsites from 8am on Thursday 26 August until they close on Monday 30 August.
  • Weekend Non-Camping: £296. Daily entry from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 August, from 09:30 at Reading and 11am at Leeds, with no campsite access or readmission. At Leeds it excludes the Piccadilly Party and LS23 stages.

Each is £1 more than the 2026 first release of £361, £325 and £295 (Time Out, 1 December 2025). The official pages also offered Vodafone and Three customers 10% off Weekend Camping through their networks' apps. We could not verify when a later release starts or what it costs, and a page's label is not proof of how many are left, so check the official site.

Day tickets will come "closer to the event", says Reading's help centre (updated 8 October 2026), and give no campsite access. The 2026 first release priced a single day at £125 (Time Out).

How the Reading and Leeds deposit and instalments work

  • £20 deposit, then nine monthly instalments. Choose "Ticketmaster Instalments" at checkout (official pages, 10 October 2026). When the sale opened in September 2026, the same pages advertised a £10 deposit.
  • Longer than for 2026, when bookings from 2 December 2025 could pay £20 plus seven instalments. The 2027 sale opened earlier.
  • Run from your Ticketmaster account, where you can see the balance, change card details and pay off early. The ticket can only be resold once every instalment is paid.
  • No refund for the line-up. Tickets are non-refundable, and Reading's 2027 terms allow refunds only if the event is cancelled or materially altered; line-up changes do not count. That matters when you buy before any act is named.

When are the Reading and Leeds 2027 headliners announced?

No 2027 act or reveal date had been announced by 10 October 2026. Previous reveals:

  • Friday 9 December 2022 (2023 festival). On BBC Radio 1, with general sale on Monday 12 December (Time Out). A Barclaycard presale had run in August 2022, before any line-up.
  • Thursday 23 November 2023 (2024 festival). Radio X; Clash.
  • Friday 6 December 2024 (2025 festival). Chappell Roan, Hozier, Bring Me The Horizon and Travis Scott, with general sale on Monday 9 December (Time Out).
  • Monday 1 December 2025 (2026 festival). Chase & Status, Charli xcx, Dave, Florence + The Machine, Fontaines D.C. and Raye, billed as a "UK festival exclusive" for all headliners. A PayPal presale opened that day and general sale at 12pm on Wednesday 3 December (official news post).

A reveal between late November and early December 2026 would fit that pattern, but it is not confirmed, and the old anchor has gone: each of those reveals came with a ticket launch, while the 2027 sale opened in September. Watch the news pages on both official sites.

One 2027 change is confirmed. Reading Borough Council has allowed Thursday main-stage music at Reading from 5pm to 11pm (Reading Today, 19 August 2026). Leeds already had Thursday permission, and Kasabian were billed as its first Thursday main-stage headliner in 2026 (Time Out). No Thursday act for 2027 had been named by 10 October 2026.

When did Reading and Leeds 2027 tickets go on sale?

  • 10am BST, Friday 4 September 2026: early access. A sign-up on both festival websites; those who signed up were emailed a ticket link and password (Dork; Newbury Today).
  • 10am BST, Friday 11 September 2026: general sale. Ticketmaster's own event data gives all three weekend tickets an on-sale time of 09:00 UTC that day.

For 2026, Reading had sold out by mid-July apart from Sunday day tickets (Music Week, 15 July 2026), and by the festival weekend all camping at both sites had sold out (Time Out, 28 August 2026).

Selling, transferring or buying a Reading or Leeds ticket

  • Official resale only. The 2027 terms (clause 19) ban resale except through the official resale platform of the agent you bought from: for Ticketmaster buyers, Ticketmaster's fan-to-fan resale, which the help centres say opens "closer to the event" (articles last updated in November and December 2025, naming no year), with no date. Ticketmaster UK says it has capped resale at face value since 2018, its own policy rather than law: no legal UK cap was in force in late September 2026 (see our price cap explainer). Festival sellers are typically paid within 7 business days after the event.
  • Transfer comes later. It is switched on nearer the festival, and Ticketmaster emails holders when it is. It is free, and the recipient gets a new barcode while the sender's ticket stops working.
  • Mobile ticket, then wristband. Reading's tickets appear in your Ticketmaster account the week before the event. Reading's terms say that on first entry they are swapped for a wristband that is strictly non-transferable.
  • Unauthorised sellers. Both festivals name Viagogo, TicketSwap, Tixel, StubHub, eBay, Gumtree and Facebook, and Reading adds Instagram and TikTok. Neither names Twickets, and under clause 19 it is not an official route for a Ticketmaster-bought ticket. Under Reading's terms, if a barcode is duplicated only the first scan gets in, and lost tickets are not replaced.

The authorised sellers are Ticketmaster and SeeTickets, plus Leeds Ticket Hub at Leeds. More in our Ticketmaster resale explainer and ticket scam guide.

Under-18s at Reading and Leeds 2027

  • Under 13s get in free at Reading, under its terms, with a paying ticket holder aged 18 or over with them at all times.
  • Under 16s must be with an adult ticket holder aged 18 or over who stays on site all weekend.
  • 16 and 17 year olds can attend on their own ticket; the festivals accept no supervisory duty of care for under 18s.
  • No alcohol under 18 at Reading. Reading's terms bar under 18s from bringing or buying it, and Challenge 25 applies at its bars. Check the Leeds terms for its own ID rules.

On 10 October 2026 both official sites listed first-release weekend tickets at £362 for Weekend + Early Entry Camping, £326 for Weekend Camping and £296 for Weekend Non-Camping, each £1 more than for 2026. Reading's help centre says day tickets will come closer to the event.

Is there a deposit for Reading and Leeds 2027?

Can I get a refund on a Reading or Leeds ticket?

Both festivals' help centres say tickets are non-refundable, and Reading's 2027 terms allow refunds only if the event is cancelled or materially altered; line-up changes do not count. If you cannot go, the festivals point you to Ticketmaster's fan-to-fan resale, the only permitted resale route for Ticketmaster buyers, which their help centres say opens "closer to the event"; or transfer the ticket once Ticketmaster switches transfer on.
