Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Alertix (alertix.app) is a trading name of Nabbit Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17359216). Registered office: 64, International House Nile Street, London, United Kingdom, N1 7SR. Nabbit Limited is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about anything in this policy at support@alertix.app.

2. What we collect

• Email address - provided when you sign up for alerts, a membership, or a waitlist.
• Push-notification tokens - created if you enable push notifications on a device.
• Alert preferences - the events, dates, and notification settings you choose.
• Payment information - payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details; we keep records of what you purchased and your subscription status.
• Usage data - standard technical data such as IP address and browser type in server logs, and analytics and advertising data collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 6).

3. Why we use it

• To deliver the service you signed up for (sending alerts, managing your account and subscription) - on the basis that it is necessary to perform our contract with you.
• To process payments and keep business records - contract and legal obligation.
• To improve the service and measure our advertising - our legitimate interests and, where required, your consent.
• To send service messages about your alerts and account - contract. Marketing emails are only sent where permitted, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run Alertix: Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services (hosting and email delivery), Netlify (website hosting), and advertising and analytics providers (Meta, Google, Reddit) for measurement of our own campaigns. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are protected by recognised safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account or subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for business and legal records. Push tokens for devices that stop responding are deleted automatically. You can request deletion at any time (see section 7).

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions (such as keeping you signed in) and for analytics and advertising measurement (Google and Meta tags). You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of personalised advertising through the settings offered by Google and Meta.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email support@alertix.app or use the unsubscribe link in any alert email. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed, and we will notify active subscribers of material changes.
