    Ticketmaster's tour terms say resale opens closer to the show date, and ticket holders will be told when it does. The price cap is Ticketmaster UK's general resale policy.

    Irish law bars resale above the original price at Croke Park. MCD says Ticket Exchange is often switched on only a few weeks before a show, and resale may be restricted on some tickets, such as VIP packages.

Before you pay on any resale site

  1. Go to the official site yourself, from the organiser's or venue's own page, rather than through a link someone sent you.
  2. Check the address bar. A look-alike address with an extra word or a different ending is not the official site.
  3. Read the event's ticket terms. Many say tickets resold outside the named routes can be cancelled.
  4. Pay by card on the site itself. Never pay by bank transfer or through a social media message.
