TL;DR. Ryder Cup Europe announced on 31 July 2026 that general admission for the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor (13 to 19 September 2027) had sold out, after an island-of-Ireland sale and a global ballot. Match days cost €499, a record for a European Ryder Cup. Two official routes had not opened by 10 October 2026: the SuperValu Community Day for island-of-Ireland residents, and the Official Resale Platform, due in early 2027 at original prices. Any other resale is banned and can cost the seller every ticket they bought.
When is the 2027 Ryder Cup, and which days need a ticket?
The 100th anniversary Ryder Cup runs from Monday 13 to Sunday 19 September 2027 at Adare Manor, Co Limerick, Ireland's second Ryder Cup after The K Club in 2006. The ticketed days are Tuesday to Sunday:
- Tuesday 14 September. Practice day and the SuperValu Community Day.
- Wednesday 15 September. Practice day and the All Star Match.
- Thursday 16 September. Practice day, the Junior Ryder Cup final round and the Opening Ceremony.
- Friday 17 to Sunday 19 September. The three match days.
How the Ryder Cup 2027 ballot and sale worked
- 17 February 2026. Ticket accounts opened; only account holders could buy or enter the ballot.
- 11am BST, Friday 24 April 2026. The island-of-Ireland window, first-come, first-served. More than 150,000 residents had registered and the queue peaked at about 75,000. Match days sold out in under an hour, practice-day and weekly tickets within about four hours (The Irish Times; RTE).
- 2pm BST, Thursday 28 May 2026. Weekly tickets and The Green went on sale, first-come, first-served (Adare Village; GolfMagic).
- 3 to 29 June 2026. The global ballot, for daily tickets only: 18 or over, one entry each, up to four tickets per day, random allocation, cancellable until 13 July 2026 (Ballot Terms).
- 31 July 2026. Winners, told over the previous seven days, were liable for everything allocated and charged automatically around the end of July. Ryder Cup Europe announced that general admission had sold out.
Richard Atkinson, Chief Ryder Cup Officer, said demand was more than 12 times supply.
Ryder Cup 2027 ticket prices

Junior tickets are for practice days only, for under-16s born after 14 September 2011, bought with an adult's. Children aged 2 and under need no ticket. €499 is nearly double Rome 2023's €260 but below Bethpage 2025's $750, about €638 (The Irish Times; RTE).
SuperValu Community Day: how to get Tuesday tickets
On 22 April 2026 Ryder Cup Europe said thousands of tickets for the Tuesday practice day, 14 September 2027, would go to island-of-Ireland residents through a customer promotion run by Musgrave, with details promised later in 2026. By 10 October 2026 none had appeared on rydercup.com's ticket, FAQ and news pages or Musgrave's news page, so how to apply, and at what price, is unknown.
Can you still get Ryder Cup 2027 tickets?
The FAQ says no tickets are likely on the day. On 10 October 2026 the official ticket page pointed to two routes, though a seller's own page is not proof anything is left:
- Ticket-inclusive packages. Ryder Cup Travel Services sells five hotel nights, 15 to 20 September 2027, with a Thursday-to-Sunday ticket, and the accommodation page lists ticket-inclusive cruise-ship cabins in the Shannon Estuary. The only other authorised sellers are On Location, five distributors and eight tour operators: Carr Golf, Golf Travel Group, Golf Traveller, Golfbreaks, Gullivers Sports Travel, The Experience Golf, Lyons Links and Your Golf Travel. On 10 October 2026 Gullivers listed packages from £4,699 per person and Lyons Links from €4,995 per person sharing.
- Premium Experiences, for two or more, non-refundable, no accommodation. On 10 October 2026 Trophy Suite and Ryder Cup Suites were marked sold out, and Samuel Ryder Club and Captains Club listed prices from €600 per person. Confirm availability and VAT with rydercuppremium@rydercupeurope.com.
Adare Manor does not sell tickets, and on 10 October 2026 it was taking no bookings for 1 to 30 September 2027.
Is there an official Ryder Cup 2027 resale?
Yes, due in early 2027 according to Ryder Cup Europe's FAQ, which sends general admission holders who cannot attend to the Official Resale Platform. The Terms of Purchase (clauses 45 to 54 and 57) set the rules:
- Face value only. Tickets are listed at the original price paid, and buyers add admin fees, in euros.
- Sellers must be 16 or over and have bought direct from Ryder Cup Europe, and receive the price less admin fees within 14 days.
- No guarantees. Nothing is promised to list quickly or to sell, and a per-buyer cap is to be published.
Why every other Ryder Cup resale is banned
The terms forbid selling a ticket for profit or above face value, or bundling it into unofficial hospitality or travel packages. The penalties:
- Ryder Cup Europe can cancel a ticket resold elsewhere and every other ticket the seller bought.
- A ticket obtained anywhere but its own purchase or resale platforms is invalid, and the holder can be refused entry or removed.
The Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment's register of designated events under the Sale of Tickets Act 2021 (gov.ie, updated 20 May 2026) lists the Ryder Cup 2027 as designated from 20 May 2026; a 15 September 2026 copy on enterprise.gov.ie omits it, showing no revocation. Fine Gael TD John Clendennen said in May 2026 that designation makes selling or advertising above face value a criminal offence. Our Ireland face-value guide explains designation.
On 29 April 2026 the Irish Examiner reported Viagogo listings at up to about three times face value, such as a €499 Sunday ticket at €1,706, and Gardaí had warned in March 2026 of fraudulent websites selling tickets, accommodation and travel packages. See our ticket scam guide.
Transfers, delivery and refunds
- All sales are final: no refunds, exchanges or change of day.
- Digital only. Tickets are a QR code on your phone, in your account and the official app, issued by 14 August 2027 at the latest.
- Transfers. Enter the recipient's email in your Ryder Cup account once tickets appear; they need their own account. A weekly ticket splits into day tickets for different people.
- Accessibility. Some tickets are reserved for disabled spectators; anyone needing continuous assistance may bring a companion over 18 free.
Where Alertix fits
Alertix does not watch Ryder Cup tickets, including the Official Resale Platform and the Community Day; rydercup.com and Musgrave's channels are the places to watch. The events page lists the sold-out events we do watch. For another 2027 sporting ballot, see our Ashes 2027 tickets guide.
