TL;DR. Isle of Wight Festival 2027 early birds went on sale at 08:00 BST on Thursday 25 June 2026 and were gone in about 29 hours, before any act was named; on 10 October 2026 the official tickets page listed them as sold out and gave no general sale date. The festival runs from 17 to 20 June 2027 at Seaclose Park, Newport, and no headliner or general sale price had been announced. In the 2026 cycle the general sale opened at 8am on Wednesday 1 October 2025, two days after the headliners, at £320 for a weekend including fees (Isle of Wight Guru).
When do Isle of Wight Festival 2027 tickets go on general sale?
The festival has not said. As of 10 October 2026 its line-up page still showed the 2026 bill under a holding line. In each of the last two cycles, the general sale opened two days after the line-up announcement:
- 2025 festival. First line-up and a 48-hour presale for Three customers on 23 September 2024; general release from 8am on 25 September 2024 (Isle of Wight Guru; PinkNews).
- 2026 festival. Lewis Capaldi, Calvin Harris and The Cure announced as headliners on Monday 29 September 2025; general sale from 8am on Wednesday 1 October 2025 (the festival; Time Out).
- 2027 festival. No act, general sale date or price as of 10 October 2026.
Past line-ups were announced between September and November, according to the local site Isle of Wight Guru. The festival's tickets page has a mailing-list sign-up for the 2027 headliners.
How fast did the 2027 early birds sell out?
They went on sale at 08:00 BST on Thursday 25 June 2026, four days after the 2026 festival ended, on the festival website and the local platform The Price is Wight, in full or on a payment plan (Island Echo). Tier 1 sold out within five hours, and Tier 2 in 23 hours 35 minutes, about 29 hours in all (Isle of Wight Guru). For 2026 the early birds opened at 8am on 26 June 2025 and were all gone by 1.59pm the next day (Isle of Wight County Press).
How much are Isle of Wight Festival 2027 tickets?
We found no official 2027 price list (checked 10 October 2026). Isle of Wight Guru recorded these early bird prices, fees included:
- Weekend, with or without camping: £259 in both Tier 1 and Tier 2.
- Islander weekend: £215 in Tier 1, £225 in Tier 2.
- Tier 1 extras: older child (9 to 12) £35, younger child (3 to 8) £25, campervan £330 or £420 with power, weekend parking £42.
The 2026 Tier 1 early bird weekend was £231.35 (Isle of Wight County Press), and the 2026 general sale weekend £320 including fees, or £289 for Islanders (Isle of Wight Guru). That general sale offered interest-free Ticketmaster Instalments and PayPal Pay in 3 (the festival). No 2027 general sale price had been announced as of 10 October 2026; Isle of Wight Guru's guess of £340 to £350 is a prediction, not a price.
Isle of Wight Festival 2027 ticket types: Islander, child, teen, campervan and day tickets
- Islander tickets are sold for a limited time, only to Isle of Wight residents paying with a card registered to an island postcode, and only through Ticketmaster or The Price is Wight.
- Child tickets can only be bought alongside adult tickets. Infants aged 2 and under go free, with at most four children or infants per booking.
- Teens. No teen ticket: 13 to 15 year olds need a weekend ticket and an adult aged 18 or over with them; 16 and 17 year olds can attend alone on one.
- Campervans. On 10 October 2026 the camping page listed early bird campervan passes as sold out, with more to come later. The pass is a Ticketmaster add-on, and everyone in the van needs a weekend ticket.
- Day tickets were not on sale as of 10 October 2026; for 2026 they were released on 28 February 2026.
A weekend ticket allows unlimited re-entry. Gates and the campsite open on Thursday 17 June 2027, and weekend ticket holders must leave the campsite by 2pm on Monday 21 June.
Can you resell or transfer an Isle of Wight Festival 2027 ticket?
Only in narrow ways. The 2027 terms add a resale clause the 2026 terms did not have.
- Official resale only. Clause 4 bans resale except through the official resale platform of the seller you bought from, or one listed on the festival website. As of 10 October 2026 the festival's tickets page and ticket FAQ listed none. The 2026 terms named no resale route.
- Not always Ticketmaster. Tickets are also sold by The Price is Wight, and Big Green Coach sells ticket-and-coach packages.
- No transfers outside your group booking (clauses 2 and 3), and wristbands become invalid if removed, transferred or resold (clause 7). Tickets from touts or auction sites are void.
- Named camping. Love Your Tent tickets carry each camper's name. Respect and Family names can be changed for £20 plus VAT and fees per ticket, with no Family changes after 15 May 2027.
- No refunds unless the whole festival is cancelled, and none if a headliner does not appear (clauses 16 and 17). Every early bird was bought before any act was named.
On Ticketmaster UK, resale is capped at the price paid, the Sell option appears only if the organiser has switched resale on, and add-ons such as a car park pass can stop it appearing. With no resale platform listed on the festival's tickets page or ticket FAQ as of 10 October 2026, whether Ticketmaster resale will be switched on for 2027 is not known. Our Ticketmaster resale explainer and ticket scam guide cover the rest.
Will Isle of Wight Festival 2027 sell out?
Nobody can say, and it does not sell out every year. The 2026 festival sold out on 15 May 2026, 34 days before the gates opened (Isle of Wight County Press), and Festival Director Caroline Giddings said 55,000 people attended (Island Echo). Weekend tickets for 2023 sold out on 8 June 2023; the 2024 and 2025 editions did not sell out (Isle of Wight Guru).
