# Delete your Alertix account

Last updated: 15 September 2026

Alertix (alertix.app and the Alertix mobile app) is a trading name of Nabbit Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17359216). This page explains how to have your account and the data attached to it deleted.

## How to ask us to delete your account

1. Email [support@alertix.app](mailto:support@alertix.app?subject=Delete%20my%20account) from the address you signed up with, with **Delete my account** as the subject. Sending from that address is how we confirm the request is yours.

2. We reply to confirm, then erase the account. Requests are completed within 30 days and usually within a few working days.

If you have a membership, cancel it first in the Google Play or App Store subscription settings on your phone. Deleting the account does not cancel a store subscription, because only the store can do that.

## Stopping alerts without deleting your account

You do not have to delete the account to stop hearing from us. In the app, open an event you track and turn off email and push, or choose Stop tracking to remove that event and its settings. Every alert email also carries an unsubscribe link. These remove the alert data for that event and leave the rest of the account in place.

## What is deleted

- Your email address and the account it identifies.

- Every event you track and its settings: dates, ticket types, price cap, seating preference.

- Push-notification registrations for every device on the account.

- The record of alerts we have sent you.

- Your chat display name and the messages you posted in the app's chat rooms.

- Waitlist and event-request entries.

## What we keep, and for how long

- **Payment and invoice records** - kept for six years after the end of the financial year they fall in, because UK tax law requires it. These are held by us and by Stripe, our payment processor, and are not used to contact you.

- **A suppression record** - a minimal record that your address asked not to be emailed, kept so that a later import cannot start emailing you again.

- **Server logs** - technical logs that may contain an IP address are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted on a rolling basis.

## Your other rights

Under UK data protection law you can also ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, or object to how we use it. Email [support@alertix.app](mailto:support@alertix.app) . Our [privacy policy](https://alertix.app/privacy) explains what we collect and why. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at [ico.org.uk](https://ico.org.uk) .
